Jacob Samuel Kleiner of Bayside will celebrate becoming a bar mitzvah Sept. 4 at Congregation Beth Israel. He is the son of Donna and Leo Kleiner and the brother of Evan, 9.
The maternal grandparents are Charlotte and Arthur Shavzin of Glendale. The paternal grandfather is Michael Kleiner of Glendale.
Jacob is a student at Maple Dale School.
