Alvin E. Sucher of Glendale died July 20 of natural causes. He was 92.
As a child, he came to Milwaukee from Chicago. He graduated from Washington High School and attended Marquette University.
He was a salesman and business owner in the beverage industry. He was a member of Alpha Epsilon Pi and the Harmony Masonic Lodge, and president of men’s ORT. He enjoyed “traveling the world and spending time with his family,” according to his family.
He is survived by wife Freda (nee Silberman); sons Dr. Robert (Dolly) Sucher of Fox Point and Michael (Margo) Sucher of Mequon; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Blane Goodman Funeral Service handled the arrangements. Rabbi Ronald Shapiro officiated at the funeral on July 22. Burial was in Mound Zion Cemetery.
