Four Wisconsin teens — Max Kaplan, Jordan Schwam, Natanya Russek and Elyce Heffez — traveled to Boston for Impact: Boston, a Brandeis University/B’nai B’rith Youth Organization program that aims to develop teens into agents of social change.
The two-week program, running June 23-July 4, aimed to help teens develop the skills of social activists. Participants worked with non-profit organizations; learned about community issues; raised funds and decided how to allocate them; and engaged in text study.
