Edythe Victor

 Former Milwaukeean Edythe Victor died March 27 in Madison at age 93.

A native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, she grew up in Madison, where she graduated as valedictorian from Madison Central High School in 1934.

After World War II, she and her husband, Nathan, settled in Milwaukee. In 2000, they moved to Minneapolis to be near their daughter, Roberta (Jonathan) Farris and in 2007, she moved with her daughter’s family to Madison.

She enjoyed traveling, cooking, volunteering and playing bridge and mahjong.

She was preceded in death by her husband and grandson, Paul Victor Farris.

In addition to her daughter, she is survived by son Richard (Randy) Victor of Fox Point and three grandchildren.
