Betty Sandler

Betty Sandler (nee Doren), of St. Louis Park, Minn., died April 5 of complications of Alzheimer’s disease. She was 82.

A Milwaukee native, she graduated from Washington High School and later married Hymie Sandler, to whom she was married for 62 years.

“They were married 62 years and never had a fight,” said her twin brother Louis Doren of Milwaukee. “She was a wonderful person.”

She belonged to Adath Jeshurun Congregation in Minnetonka, Minn.

In addition to her brother, she is survived by her husband; daughter Debby Saadi of St. Louis Park; son Rabbi Neil (Susan) Sandler of Atlanta, Ga.; and five grandchildren.
