What’s your miracle?

“What miracle do you wish for this Chanukah?” The Chronicle asked children of all ages at the Dec. 7 community-wide Chanukah event, “Making Miracles Happen,” sponsored by the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center.

A miracle I would like to see this Chanukah is for all the sick girls in my class to have a refuah shleima [full recovery]. Lots of girls have recently been sick with various things: colds, coughs, fevers, etc. Hopefully G-d will heal everyone very soon.
Sara Zaitschek

A miracle that I want to see is that I could fly because I will be like a bird.
Yaakov Zaitschek

This Chanukah I would like there to be peace. I really want everyone to be at peace and not have to worry. We should be happy. It’s Chanukah!
Talya Levin

A miracle that I would like to see this Chanuukah is that all people who don’t have a warm home or money to provide for their families are able to celebrate the holidays this winter.
Elissa Koppel

No bad people.
Steven Dorf

It’s a miracle that I can earn money doing what I love!
