Elisha Ben-Yitzhak exhibited his art at the Biennale International Art Exhibition Dec. 5-13 in Florence, Italy. The first Wisconsin artist ever to participate in the event, he was one of only 77 artists from the United States.
Born and raised in Israel, Ben-Yitzhak studied art at the Bezalel Art Academy in Jerusalem and the Avni Art Institute in Tel Aviv. He stopped painting for 21 years, during which he moved to Milwaukee and opened Heavenly Tours travel agency. In 2006, he returned to art.
