Thinking about visiting Israel?

This winter break 20 UW-Madison students will have the opportunity to travel to Israel for a free 10-day trip with Taglit: Birthright Israel.

Staffed by Israel native and UW Hillel Israel Fellow Nilli Glick, the trip will include visits to Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, hike in the Golan Heights, float in the Dead Sea, and spend a night in a Bedouin tent.

For half of the trip, five or six Israeli soldiers will join the students for an exchange that will lead to new friendships and a better understanding of the similarities and differences between them.

During this trip, UW students will get to experience firsthand Israeli culture, see the sites and explore their Judaism. UW Hillel is excited to once again be able to offer a trip to UW-Madison students that will broaden their cultural perspective and strengthen their relationship to Israel.
