Nechama Saltzman, an 11th grader at Torah Academy of Milwaukee, won second place in the high school division of Agudath Israel’s School Choice Essay Contest. She will receive a $500 savings bond.
More than 3,000 essays were submitted on the topic of why school choice programs — including tax credit programs and education vouchers — can benefit the Jewish community.
