Kayla Michelle Doctrow was born Sept. 1 to Lisa Kaplan Doctrow and Rob Doctrow of Lexington, Ky. She has 4-year-old twin brothers, Jacob and Daniel.
Her maternal grandparents are Shari Kaplan Paler and Ronald Paler of Mequon. Jan and Dave Doctrow of Lexington are her paternal grandparents. Esther and Rube Paler of Bayside are her paternal great-grandparents.
Kayla is named in memory of her paternal uncle, Kenny Doctrow.
