Native Milwaukeean Joel J. Lesgold died on Sept. 20 at age 62. He is survived by his wife, Terri Lesgold (nee Richman).
He graduated from Washington High School in 1965 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1973. He worked as a pharmacist at Walgreens.
“In his spare time he loved playing golf and being on his boat. He was a talented, self-taught woodworker who created many beautiful bowls out of rare and unusual woods, but his family always came first,” said his daughter, Stacey Lesgold of Glendale.
In addition to his wife and daughter, he is survived by his mother, Edith Lesgold of Mequon; and brothers Alan (Sharon) Lesgold of Pittsburgh and Steven (Janet) Lesgold of Madison.
Graveside services were held in Spring Hill Cemetery. Rabbi Joseph W. Prass officiated. Funeral arrangements were handled by Blane Goodman Funeral Service.
The family would appreciate memorial contributions to American Heart Association.
