Amy Kazilsky, director of Lifelong Learning at Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun, received the title of Reform Jewish Educator.
The title is granted from the Reform Jewish Education Title Granting Commission, which is comprised of representatives from the constituent bodies of the Reform movement.
The title is given to educators, rabbis and cantors who fulfill stringent academic requirements in education/educational administration and Judaic studies. They also fulfill a supervised educational internship.
A Jewish educator for more than nine years, she received a Master of Arts in Jewish education from the Laura and Alvin Siegal College of Judaic Studies in 2006.
