Michael G. Corenthal recently published a new book of Jewish stories, “The Goldberg Variations and Other Stories of Schnorrers, Explorers & Conquistadores.”
With an introduction by David Luhrssen, the book is “the product of a deeper reflection that occurred since Corenthal’s retirement as a shopkeeper and move to Chai Point [Senior Living Apartment Complex], where he became the youngest resident in 2006.”
“‘Jewish Stories’ was inspired by the community [he] discovered, along with his subsequent involvement with the local Lubavitch synagogue and his immersion in Jewish authors.
