Lorraine P. Gross died on Aug. 9 at age 94. A Milwaukee native, she had been living in Grinnell, Iowa.
A 1932 graduate of Washington High School, she earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1936.
She was a member of Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue. A homemaker, she liked to needlepoint and especially valued spending time with her family.
Predeceased by her husband, Paul Gross, in 1996, she is survived by sons Daniel (Janice) Gross of Grinnell and Ronald Gross of Chicago; brother Robert Pivar of Chicago; and one granddaughter.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Blane Goodman Funeral Services. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery. Rabbi Steven H. Adams officiated.
