Ethel Barbara Aronson

 Native Milwaukeean Ethel Barbara Aronson, nee Hirschbein, died on Aug. 1 at age 74.

A 1953 graduate of West Division High School, she was a member of Temple Menorah and its sisterhood. She was a past president of the Wisconsin Chapter of ORT America.

In addition to her work as an assistant manager of Downs Collectibles, she particularly enjoyed playing mah jong and poker and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Arthur Aronson; daughter Sheri Aronson of Bergenfield, N.J.; sons Solomon (Leena) Aronson of Chapel Hill, N.C., and Mark (Judy) Aronson of Tenafly, N.J.; sister Diane (Tom) Geisler of Henderson, N.V., and brother Michael Hirschbein of Phoenix, Ariz.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Suminski/Weiss Funeral Home. Burial was in Temple Menorah Ever-Rest Cemetery on Aug. 4. Rabbi Gil-Ezer Lerer officiated.
