Janice Glick, nee Rosner, of Whitefish Bay died after a long illness on May 23. She was 86.
Born in Selma, Ala., she grew up in Shreveport, La., and earned a degree in social science from the University of Texas. She met her husband, Irving, while he was stationed at Barksdale Field during World War II and they married upon his return from overseas. They were married for 64 years.
She worked as an occupational therapist for Milwaukee County for many years.
She and her husband “managed to squeeze in many foreign trips and cruises and maintained membership in many organizations,” he said.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by brothers Alan Rosner of Albuquerque, N.M., and Louis (Larraine) Rosner of Encino, Calif.; sons Lawrence (Carol) Glick of Wayland, Mass., and David (Kathi) Glick of Elm Grove; daughter Kathy (Gordon) Weil of Bethlehem, Pa.
Funeral and burial arrangements were handled by Blane Goodman Funeral Services. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery. Rabbi Marc Berkson officiated.
