Francine Feinberg, LCSW, Psy.D., has won a Business Journal’s 2009 Women of Influence award in the area of Nonprofit Leadership. She and the 21 other honorees will be honored at a June 15 luncheon at the Midwest Airlines Center.
For 25 years, Feinberg has been executive director of Meta House, Inc., which provides comprehensive treatment for women with substance abuse disorders and their children.
This year, she was appointed to the national Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration Advisory Panel for substance abuse and mental health treatment in women and girls.
She has received many local, state and national awards for her work.
