Milwaukee native Rose Marks (nee Dworkus) of Plantation, Fla., died Jan. 18, the day before her 91st birthday.
She is a graduate of North Division High School. She was active in Hadassah and many other Jewish organizations and was a member of Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue.
Marks and her husband Leon started spending winters in Florida in the mid-1970s and moved there in the early 1980s. Leon Marks died in 2001.
She is survived by sons Allen (Geraldine) Marks of Mequon and Lawrence (Laurel) Marks of South Milwaukee; daughter Gail Lenning of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
