Heifetz named co-principal of Chicago day school

Rabbi Ilan Steven Heifetz, formerly of the Milwaukee area, has been promoted to principal of secular studies at the Lubavitch Hebrew Day School of Chicago.

He earned a master’s degree in Jewish school administration from Loyola University in 2004 and rabbinical ordination from the Hebrew Theological College in 2006.

He is the son of Mari-Claire Zimmerman of Dousman and Avrum Heifetz of Mequon.
