Milwaukeean Scott Dietz has announced the opening of Ski Land, an outdoor venue for such winter sports as cross-country skiing, sledding and snow-shoeing.
Dietz, owner of Ski Land, in a release, said Ski Land is located at the site of the Missing Links Golf Course, 12950 N. Port Washington Rd. in Mequon.
Cross-country ski equipment is available for rental or purchase. Hot drinks and snacks will be sold inside the clubhouse.
Hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; and Sunday11 a.m.-5 p.m. Two-hour trail passes are $4 for juniors, $6 for teens, $8 for adults; group rates are available. For more information, call 262-243-5575.
