I ask that others join me in requesting that the WUWM radio station cancel the “BBC News Hour.”
At one time the title “BBC News” was a guarantee of fine objective reporting, but in recent years this has no longer been the case. The BBC’s biased reporting of problems in the Middle East is well documented, and if you listen to the reports every morning the distorted and partial character of its reports on the war against Hamas will be clear.
There should be a diversity of voices in the public media, but editorializing should not hide behind the mask of objective reporting.
WUWM depends on its listeners for its survival, and will be responsive to our thoughts, which can be shared by sending an e-mail to wuwm@uwm.edu.
