Native Milwaukeean Lucille Lois Jendlin (nee Wise) of Boca Raton, Fla., died Dec. 30, at the age of 90.
She was a graduate of North Division High School and attended Frances Shimer College. She lived in Milwaukee until 1980.
Jendlin was a member of Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue, B’nai B’rith International and United Jewish Appeal.
She was the last member of a large clan whose ancestors came from Russian and who were born and lived in Milwaukee between 1907 and 1930, all with the last name of Jendlin, Gendlin or Gindlin, her family said.
Preceded in death by husband Nat in 1980, she is survived by daughter Laureen Jendlin; sons Peter (Donna) Jendlin and Howard Jendlin, all of Boca Raton; son Jay Jendlin of Los Angeles; and a grandson.
Goodman Bensman Whitefish Bay Funeral Home handled funeral and burial arrangements. Rabbi Yitzchak Berman officiated at graveside services on Jan 2. Burial was in Second Home Cemetery.
