Milwaukee native Vida L. Eisenberg (nee Shaiken) died Dec. 19 at the age of 74.
A graduate of Washington High School, Eisenberg attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She was a long-time employee of P.A. Bergner’s/Boston Store.
Her family said she spoke Spanish fluently and loved Spanish music. She loved to laugh, spend time with family and friends and analyze human behavior; and she “appreciated the kindness of people,” they said.
Preceded in death by husband David Height in 1970, she is survived by husband Alvin H. Eisenberg; daughter Julie Height Lovestock of San Antonio; sister Myra Steiner of Fox Point; and brother Dr. Eugene (Bonita) Shaiken of Los Osos, Calif.
Goodman Bensman Whitefish Bay Funeral Home handled funeral and burial arrangements. Rabbi Michel Twerski officiated at services on Dec. 23. Burial was in Second Home Cemetery.
The family would appreciate memorial contributions to Jewish Women International.
