Milwaukeeans Lori Palay and Sereya Amirthalingam recently launched an online greeting card company, called Write Hook.
According to a release, the firm helps people “create cards in response to some of life’s less typical moments — treatment for cancer, a quirky life milestone, or adopting a baby,” and the like.
It also offers greeting cards on Jewish themes and subjects, as well as for more traditional occasions, the release said.
Write Hook also donates five cents from every card sale to charities designated by the firm or by the customer, the release states.
