Meryl Glaser

Native Milwaukeean Meryl Glaser (nee Kreeger) of Mequon died Dec. 15. She was 80.

A graduate of North Division High School, she attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Glaser worked for the Internal Revenue Service and then as a bookkeeper in a family business.

She was a member of Anshe Sfard Kehillat Torah and a past president of its Sisterhood.

Among her special interests was researching medical issues for friends, according to her family.

Preceded in death by husband Jack Glaser in 2006, she is survived by son Bruce (Peggi) Glaser; daughters Carol (Michele Scott) Glaser and Diane (Bill) Simmons, all of Glendale; brother Elliott (Patricia) Kreeger of Seattle; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Blane Goodman Funeral Services handled funeral and burial arrangements. Rabbi Nachman Levine officiated at graveside services in Second Home Cemetery on Dec. 17.

Memorials to a charity of the donor’s choice are appreciated.
