Rabbi Julie Pelc of Venice, Calif., and Amitai Adler of Los Angeles are planning to be married Oct. 18.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Sheryl and Claudio Pelc of Mequon. Julie graduated from Hebrew Union College. She works for the Kalsman Institute on Judaism and Health at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion.
The future groom’s mother is Dr. Rachel Adler of Los Angeles. Amitai is a student at the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies.
