Irene C. Rudman

Irene C. Rudman (nee Cohen) of Brown Deer died Oct. 31 at the age of 85.

Born in Kenosha, she graduated from that city’s Mary D. Bradford High School in 1941 and attended Kenosha Business College from 1941-1942.

Rudman worked as a homemaker and was also employed by Boston Store in women’s clothing sales.

She was a member of Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue, its Sisterhood and Women’s American ORT. She especially enjoyed knitting, reading and her family, according to her husband, Nate Rudman.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughter Cheryl Rudman of Shorewood; sons Robert (Rachel) Rudman of Bayside and Steven (Sandy Carlson) Rudman of San Francisco; brother Jack E. (Audrey) Keyes of Whitefish Bay; and five grandchildren.

Rabbi Yitzchak Berman officiated at graveside services in Mound Zion Cemetery on Nov. 3.
