Libby Fromstein

Milwaukee native Libby Fromstein died Oct. 9.

She was a graduate of North Division High School and worked as a secretary for Milwaukee County in the probate division for 25 years.

She was a member of NA’AMAT USA-Milwaukee Council, Hadassah-Milwaukee Chapter and was a “long time active and devoted volunteer” at the Jewish Home and Care Center, according to her family.

She is survived by sister-in-law Bernice (the late David) Fromstein of Stevens Point; nieces Deborah (Leon) Ayers of Stevens Point, Susan (Allan) Bernstein of Palo Alto, Calif., Ruth Fromstein of Madison, June (Alan) Garland of Deerfield, Ill., Marjorie (the late John) Stewart of Madison, and Karen (Roger) Sundell of Cedarburg; and nephews Daniel (Roberta) Fromstein of Bethesda, Md., Burton Hurwitz of West Allis and Dean (Joan) Miller of Kyle, Texas.

Rabbi E. Daniel Danson officiated at private graveside service on Oct. 19 in Wausau Hebrew Cemetery.

Memorial contributions to NA’AMAT USA, Hadassah, the Jewish Home and Care Center or Vitas Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
