Larry D. Lieberman of Mequon died on Aug. 14 at the age of 48.
Born in Milwaukee, Lieberman graduated from Nicolet High School in 1977 and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1981. He earned a law degree from Stanford University in 1984.
He worked as an attorney for Godfrey and Kahn, S.C., in Milwaukee and belonged to the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Chicago Bar Association.
A member of Congregation Beth Israel and Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue, he was also active with the Milwaukee Jewish Federation and the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center.
He is survived by wife Karen Lieberman, son Daniel and daughters Robin and Amy, all of Mequon; mother Joan Lieberman of Bayside and brother Ralph (Nancy) Lieberman of Boston.
Rabbi Jacob Herber officiated at services held at Congregation Beth Israel on Aug. 15. Burial was in Second Home Cemetery.
The family appreciates memorial contributions to Congregation Beth Israel, Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue, or the Milwaukee Jewish Day School.
