Jane Sherri Fairman

Jane Sherri Fairman (nee Aaron), of Pikesville, Md., died on Aug. 10 of a bilateral cerebellar stroke. She was 63.

Born in Milwaukee, she graduated from Washington High School in 1961 and attended the University of Wisconsin.

She was an active member of Hadassah, Women’s American ORT and the United Jewish Community Center of Virginia Peninsula.

Besides her work as an x-ray technician, she enjoyed reading, music, the arts, history, needlepoint, mahjong, and travel.

She is survived by husband Richard Fairman of Pikesville; son Tom (Samantha) Fairman of Allen, Texas; daughter Jennifer Fairman (Ronald Schmetzer) of Baltimore, Md.; and sister Judith (Burt) Naimon of Milwaukee.

Rabbi Joseph Prass officiated at funeral services held at Congregation Shalom on Aug. 14. Burial was in Beth Hamedrosh Cemetery.

The family appreciates memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
