Leah Beth Kessler will celebrate becoming a bat mitzvah on May 17 at Adath Jeshurun Congregation in Minnetonka, Minn. She is the daughter of Risa and Steven Kessler of Golden Valley, Minn. She is sister to Alexis, 15.
The maternal grandparents are Marlene and Larry Bass of Minnetonka. Jeanne and Larry Kessler of Glendale are the paternal grandparents.
Leah is a student at Minneapolis Jewish Day School.
