As we enter 2006, The Wisconsin Jewish Chronicle is ready to welcome our community’s newest members with our “First Jewish Baby of 2006” contest.
The lucky parents and their new baby will be featured in an upcoming issue and will receive several luxurious gifts donated by local businesses, including:
• A pair of baby booties from Holzman Furworks, in Mequon.
• A gold bracelet for the new mother from Stein’s Jewelers , in Milwaukee.
• A “Twilight Turtle” (stuffed turtle with light-up shell) by Cloud B from Boutique Bébé , in Milwaukee.
• One pair of newborn socks and a stuffed animal from Just Kidding , in Whitefish Bay.
• A sitting and an 8×10 photo by Marc Revensen, by Most Precious Thing Photography .
• A plant basket from Bayside Garden Center , in Bayside.
To be eligible to win, parents should send a hospital statement or other proof of birth, which includes date and time of birth, taking place on or after Jan. 1, 2006,

Entries must be received within seven days of the baby’s birth. A letter will be sent to the winning parents and must be presented to cooperating merchants to receive the gifts they offer. The contest is limited to residents of greater Milwaukee.
