Longtime Milwaukee resident Tillie Shadur (nee Geifman) died Feb. 20 of Alzheimer’s disease. She was 84.
Born in Rock Island, Ill., she moved to Milwaukee as a young woman in 1941. She worked as a homemaker and as a secretary at Shadur Box Company.
She was a member of Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue, Hadassah, Women’s American ORT, Milwaukee Jewish Federation and National Council of Jewish Women, her family said. She especially enjoyed needlework and golf.
Preceded in death by husband Meyer Shadur in 2000, she is survived by son Harvey Shadur and daughter Joan (Ronald) Pinsky, all of Annapolis, Md.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Rabbi Kurt Stone officiated at funeral services and burial, Feb. 21, in Tamarac, Fla.
