Funeral services were held Oct. 28 for Sylvia Kahn (nee Rosenfeld). She died Oct. 25 of heart failure at the Jewish Home and Care Center at the age of 92.
She was born in Sheboygan and grew up in Milwaukee, graduating from West Division High School in 1927.
Known for her needlepoint and knitting, she also enjoyed cooking for the holidays for her family. Also, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by daughter Belle (Sol) Weinstein of Mequon; sons Irv (Barbara) Kahn of Mequon and Fred (Gail) Kahn of Brown Deer; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Kahn, in 1992, and grandson Craig Kahn in 1981.
Rabbi Isaac Lerer conducted the service. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
The family would appreciate memorials to the Craig Kahn Scholarship Fund, c/o of Nicolet High School or the Jewish Home and Care Center.
