Glendale resident Rose Kaufman (nee Klieger) died Jan. 22 from complications from a stroke. She was 92.
Born in Milwaukee, she graduated from North Division High School. She was a bookkeeper at Stone’s Jewelers in Milwaukee.
A member of Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun, she was also involved with Hadassah, Women’s American ORT and B’nai B’rith Women.
Her hobbies included reading, playing cards, crossword puzzles and needlework.
She is survived by daughters Brenda Safer, of Milwaukee and Judith (Marshall) Weingarten, of Overland Park, Kan.; sister Inez Schoenfeld of Milwaukee; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Rabbi Marc Berkson officiated at funeral services on Jan. 25. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions to the Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun Food Bank or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
