Native Milwaukeean Rebecca Liberman (nee Hoffman) of Fox Point died of renal and congestive heart failure Dec. 7. She was 92.
Salutatorian of her class at West Division High School, she worked as a secretary for MGM Studios distribution office in Milwaukee.
Her special interests included writing poetry and baking; and she was devoted to her nieces and nephews and other family members, according to her family.
“She was a kind, caring person who saw the good in people and in life,” her family said.
She was a member of NA’AMAT USA-Milwaukee Council.
She was preceded in death by husband Sam Liberman in 1997.
Rabbi Nachman Levine officiated at funeral services Dec. 9. Burial was in Mound Zion Cemetery.
