Milwaukee native Natalie Manes (nee Reisman) died May 23 of cancer in Westlake Village, Calif. She was 70.
A 1949 graduate of Lincoln High School, she was married to Ronald Manes, who died in 1994.
She was a member of B’nai B’rith, Hadassah and the Friends of Brandeis University and supported many Jewish charitable organizations. She also enjoyed playing mah jong.
Survivors include daughter Laurie Ramsey of Agoura, Calif.; son Joel Manes of Westlake Village; sister Jane Subeck of Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.; and a granddaughter.
Rabbi Rebecca Debowe officiated at services and burial on May 27 in California.
The family would appreciate memorials to the Brandeis University National Women’s Committee in Waltham, Mass.
