Mildred J. Rubnitz (nee Bylan) of Madison died Sept. 28 at the age of 79.
Born in Chicago, she moved to Milwaukee as a child and graduated from Washington High School. As an adult, she resided in Beloit and relocated to Madison some 40 years ago.
She is survived by sons Michael (Janet) Rubnitz of Madison and James (Terri) Rubnitz of San Jose, Calif.; brother Dr. Jack (Deborah) Bylan of Milwaukee; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services were held Sept. 29 in Spring Hill Cemetery. Hazzan Mitchell J. Martin officiated.
