Marvin Sol Kahn

Former Milwaukeean Marvin Sol Kahn of Rockville, Md., died of cancer on Feb. 6. He was 72.

He was born in Milwaukee and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison law school. He worked as an attorney and was a member of Congregation B’nai Tzedek in Potomac, Md. His special interests including reading to the blind. His first wife, Marcia Kahn, died in 2000.

He is survived by his second wife, Dr. Susan Nayfield Kahn; sons Ralph (Katherine) Kahn of Rockville and Josh (Melissa) Kahn of Ashburn, Va.; brother Howard (Zoe) Kahn of Yountville, Calif.; and sister Carol Sue (Edward) Losyev of Brown Deer.

Rabbi Reeve Brenner officiated at the funeral service and burial in Maryland.
