Funeral services were held July 14 for Mae Pittelman. A resident of the Jewish Home and Care Center, she died July 11 at the age of 93.
She was born in Russia and came to Milwaukee in 1910, via Canada. She made a living as a sales clerk.
She belonged to Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue and Pioneer Women. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by son Ted (Ann) Pittelman of Mequon; daughter Esther (Dr. James) Wax of Omaha, Neb.; sisters Edith Jacobs of Las Vegas and Clara (Carl) Manes of Mequon; seven grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Hyman Pittelman, died in 1949.
Cantor Jerome Berkowitz officiated at the service. Burial was in Mound Zion Cemetery.
