Mequon resident Lisa Galitzer (nee Frankl) died of cancer March 23 at the age of 66.
She was born in Vienna in 1938, and came to Milwaukee in 1939. A 1956 graduate of Shorewood High School, she attended the Milwaukee State Teachers College (now the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee) from 1956 to 1958.
She worked as a bookkeeper for Growing Sales and was a member of Congregation Shalom.
Rabbi Ronald Shapiro officiated at the funeral March 26. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
She is survived by Harold Galitzer, her husband of 44 years; daughters, Shari (Dirk) Entenmann of Madison; Sandy (Greg) Easley of Mequon; Michelle (Peter) Zierten of Roswell, Ga.; and six grandchildren.
