Milwaukee native Leo Lansky of Glendale died Feb. 1. He was 83.
He graduated in 1936 from Washington High School and in 1942 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in journalism.
He was the owner of Bonded TV Services in Milwaukee for nearly 30 years. In his spare time he enjoyed bowling, golf, bridge and spending time with family and friends. In addition, he attended Elderhostels and classes at UW-Milwaukee.
He was a member of Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue and its men’s club, the Stanley Marsack Post of the Jewish War Veterans of the USA and a havurah group.
He is survived by his wife, Esther Lansky (nee Kahn); daughters Robin (Bernard) Cohen of Milwaukee and Judith (Kenneth Gould) Lansky of Little Rock, Ark.; and six grandchildren.
Rabbis Gideon Goldenholz and Nachman Levine officiated at the funeral on Feb. 3. Burial was in Agudas Achim Cemetery.
