The Benjamin E. Nickoll Award was established in 1962 on the occasion of Nickoll’s 80th birthday, in honor of his lifetime of service to the Milwaukee Jewish community.
It is awarded annually to young men who have demonstrated leadership qualities through involvement in the federation and other community activities, and is intended to inspire future generations to emulate the lives of humanitarians.
The Nickoll endowment is a permanent endowment within the Jewish Community Foundation, the MJF’s endowment development program.
The cost of the luncheon is $15. Dietary laws will be observed. For more information or reservations, due Aug. 24, call Ellie Gettinger at 414-390-5742 or sign up online at www.milwaukeejewish.org.
