Milwaukee attorney Kenneth Z. Kaiman died April 9 of heart failure. He was 80.
Born in Omaha, he came to Milwaukee as a young child. He graduated from North Division High School and served in California and at the Valley Forge Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Pennsylvania during World War II. According to his family, he completed his undergraduate college degree (1948) and law school (1950) on the G.I. Bill at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
As an attorney in private practice for more than 50 years, he specialized in real estate, family and tax law.
His family said that he was an avid sports fan and loved to fish. His passion was to travel and he cherished his annual summer road trips with his wife, Beverly (nee Gerstein), and children.
In addition to his wife of 52 years, he is survived by daughter Karen (Allan) Reizman of Buffalo Grove, Ill.; son Keith (Sherri) Kaiman of Cedarburg; brother Dr. Bernard (Audrey) Kaiman of Jonesborough, Tenn.; sister Rosalie Nirenberg of Bayside; and five grandchildren.
Rabbi Marc Berkson officiated at graveside services in Mound Zion Cemetery on May 14.
