Former Milwaukeean Julius Edward Dann died of natural causes in St. Louis on Oct. 27. He was 91.
A 1930 graduate of Washington High School, he was an automobile dealer who owned and operated Crown Motor Sales, 3600 W. Wisconsin Ave.
A member of Cong. Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun, he had a special interest in playing the violin, according to his family.
He is survived by wife Eve Levy Dann of St. Louis; son Stuart (Michelle) Dann of Dallas, Tex.; daughter Marilyn Dann (Ken) Steinback of St. Louis; sister Jessie Dann Schefrin of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Rabbi Jim Bennett officiated at a memorial service at Shaare Emeth Temple in St. Louis on Oct. 29.
