Jeffrey Lakritz of Milwaukee died on Nov. 8 at the age of 96.
Lakritz, a native of Ludmir, Poland, came to Milwaukee as an adult, together with his family, in 1949.
He worked at Gimbel’s Department Store, in downtown Milwaukee, selling men’s clothing.
He was a member of Congregation Beth Jehudah.
Preceded in death by wife Deborah, in 2002, he is survived by son Isaac (Lea) Lakritz, of West Bloomfield, Mich., and three grandchildren.
Graveside services were held on Nov. 9 at Mound Zion Cemetery. Rabbi Michel Twerski officiated.
