Jack Roland Mandelker

Native Milwaukeean Jack Roland Mandelker died of multiple myeloma on Jan. 31, He was 75.

He graduated from Shorewood High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison; and he served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He worked as an insurance agent.

He was a member of Congregation Sinai, the Badgerland Striders and the Vagabond Ski Club. His special interests included running, skiing, music, bicycling and hiking.

He is survived by best friend Elisabeth F. Schraith, sister Leah (Les) Axelrod of Highland Park, Ill., brother-in-law Jerry Bleckman and sister-in-law Chickie Mandelker.
Rabbi David Cohen officiated at the Feb. 2 funeral. Burial was in Mound Zion Cemetery.
