Longtime Milwaukeean Irene Beck (nee Rosenstein) died Nov. 23 at the Jewish Home and Care Center. She was 91.
A Chicago native, she was the former office manager at Sax Arts & Crafts. In addition, she was an active member of Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun and Hadassah.
She is survived by daughter Paula Waterfield of Nebraska City, Neb.; brother Earl (Marion) Rosenstein of Woodland Hills, Calif.; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Her husband, Jacob Beck, died in 1986.
Rabbi Steven Adams officiated at funeral services on Nov. 26. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
The family would appreciate memorials to the Jewish Home and Care Center or Chai Point.
