I continue to be confused and need help to understand. I do not understand the U.S. State Department and the world news media. I do not understand how things are equal.
The world media, the U.S. State Department and the European Union equate the killing of Jewish Israeli women — pregnant women, children and teens sitting in a pizza shop — with the leveling of Palestine Liberation Organization buildings with no injuries. How are these equal?
The media reports the killing of Israeli teens at a disco as if it were a military battle and the killer a hero. The suicide bomber attacks unarmed teens and is in fact a coward.
When Timothy McVeigh killed 167 innocent people in Oklahoma City, he was hunted down and executed. No one in America celebrated him as a hero except some very sick people. But news media report the celebration of the “suicide bomber” like he was a hero. How does this make any sense?
When the Israeli military takes over a PLO building or bulldozes a police headquarters with not one death, let alone not one person from either side being injured, it is “provocative” — but it is only a “shame” that 15 Jewish Israelis are killed and more than 100 Jewish Israelis are wounded going out for pizza. How are these equal?
Also note that America and Britain bomb Iraqi military sites and this is not “provocative” or “excessive force.”
Jews have solidarity rallies and mourn the loss of life. Arabs have solidarity rallies and celebrate the killing of their enemy; they celebrate the deaths of their young men who kill women and children. These events are reported as being morally equivalent. How are these equal?
Milwaukee Jews have a solidarity rally, and it is really a group mourning, a chance for 500 people to say Kaddish together. Where is the outrage, where is the cry for action to properly defend Jewish lives?
I do not understand how mourning the unfortunate, tragic deaths of children, women and men shows the world our support for Jews in Israel. Sympathy, yes; but support? I do not understand.
We are at war
A PLO “police headquarters” where terrorist acts are planned, where mortars shells are stored, where bombs are built to blow-up pizza shops is presented as a innocent building, and the world cries when it is demolished without one person being hurt.
Innocent Jewish Israeli women and children eating pizza are murdered by a coward in the name of his God, and no world outcry? How does this make any sense?
The new media label a terrorist killer of women and children a “suicide bomber,” even a hero, not a murderer, a cowardly killer. The media present us the celebration of this murderer’s death as if it was a victory while his victims are still laying on the streets by the shopping mall or the disco where they were murdered.
We get the coward’s life story while forgetting his victims. How does this make any sense?
Israeli Arabs advocating the killing of Israelis living across the Green Line are allowed to serve in the Knesset while there is no Peace Now movement among the Palestinians or any Arab country because individuals advocating peace with the Israelis are killed by Arabs. How does this make any sense?
Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat signed an agreement in Oslo stating that he would not use violence to resolve Israeli-Palestinian disagreements. Since then, Palestinians have killed more than 200 Jewish Israelis and injured thousands more. How good is Arafat’s word?
The news media present a story of Israeli atrocities — they bomb a building and no one dies and somewhere down in the later part of the story where most people do not read is the reason the building was demolished.
Another Palestinian coward shot and killed an Israeli because he was driving down the road on his way home to his wife and children or maybe a family decided to go out for pizza or teens decided to go to the disco. How are these equal? How does this make any sense?
Please help me to understand why there are not more letters to the editor of every newspaper in the world calling for support of Israel in its war against the Arabs. We are at war — you do realize this, don’t you?
You do know that the Arabs have only one goal and that is the total elimination of the Jewish State of Israel. Is there any doubt in your mind?
Or maybe you are one of those unfortunate individuals who believe that the Palestinians are right and the country should be theirs or shared equally or be a nice secular state without any reference that Israel is a Jewish State with Jewish values.
Please help me to understand why these are all equal? Please help me to understand why they make sense?
