Funeral services were held March 30 for Harry Perlstein. He died March 27 of congestive heart failure at the age of 91. He resided in Chai Point.
He was born in Lomza, Poland, and settled in Milwaukee in 1919. He was the founder and former president of Bonded Messenger Service.
He belonged to Congregation Shalom and was active with the Perhift Players, a local Yiddish theater group. In addition to acting, his special interests included photography.
He is survived by his wife, Celia Perlstein (nee Paykel); son Jerry (Sandi) Perlstein of Mequon; daughter Sandy (Hank) Albert of Glendale; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Rabbi Ronald Shapiro officiated at the funeral. Burial was in Agudas Achim Cemetery.
The family would appreciate memorials to the Jewish Home and Care Center.
